Nai Andrews
Nai Andrews is a Marriage and Family Therapy Student Intern who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with greater connection, understanding, and hope. Drawing from a systemic and relational perspective, Nai believes people are best understood within the context of their relationships, family systems, culture, and lived experiences.
Nai brings more than two decades of experience working with children and families in caregiving, educational, and supportive roles. This background has given her a deep appreciation for the complexities of parenting, attachment, communication, and resilience across the lifespan. As a wife and parent, Nai understands firsthand both the joys and challenges that exist within family relationships. Her personal and professional experiences have fueled a passion for helping clients strengthen connections, navigate transitions, and create healthier patterns within their relationships. Nai is particularly interested in working with individuals, couples, and families impacted by trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, family conflict, identity development, neurodiversity, and religious or spiritual trauma. She is committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming care and creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, respected, and valued as their authentic selves. As a neurodivergent clinician with lived experience of AuDHD, Nai brings a unique perspective to understanding the many ways people experience, process, and navigate the world. Her clinical approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), trauma-informed care, Narrative Therapy, and systemic thinking. She believes people are more than their problems and that healing often begins when individuals, couples, and families are given the space to
explore their stories with compassion, curiosity, and connection.
Nai approaches therapy with a spirit of curiosity, believing that beneath many of life's struggles is a desire for connection. Her goal is to help clients better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their experiences while discovering healthier, more meaningful ways to connect with themselves and the people around them. Nai is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy through Capella University's COAMFTE-accredited program and serves as a Student Intern under the supervision of Shacoya Graham, MA, LMFT, LCASA, at Blossom Family Therapy. She is committed to ongoing growth, cultural humility, and providing compassionate, ethical care to diverse individuals, couples, and families. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move toward greater self-awareness, healthier relationships, and meaningful change. Nai believes that connection is the universal language of humanity and the foundation of every
human experience.
