RELATIONSHIP EXPERTS

At Blossom Family Therapy, our Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) are dedicated mental health professionals trained in psychotherapy and family systems. We specialize in diagnosing and treating mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples, and family systems. Our experts evaluate and address a wide range of mental health, emotional, and behavioral problems, focusing on the unique dynamics within family relationships.

Family therapists at Blossom believe that relationship difficulties stem from the interactions between individuals, rather than any single person being the "problem" or having a "dysfunction." We emphasize understanding and transforming the dynamics of relationships, helping clients gain new perspectives and approaches to their interactions. Our goal is to foster healthier, more fulfilling connections within your family.

Trust Blossom Family Therapy to guide you in nurturing stronger, more harmonious relationships. Let us help you blossom together.

Meet Shacoya Graham, LMFT, LCAS-A

Welcome to Blossom Family Therapy! Shacoya Graham is a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCAS-A). With a heartfelt passion for supporting individuals, couples, and families, Shacoya brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her practice.

Shacoya’s journey in mental health began by traveling alongside families during their infertility journeys, which deepened her values of trust, empathy, and humility. Witnessing the gap between medical and mental health, she was inspired to advocate for mental wellness and bridge this divide.

She believes that individuals are the experts of their own lives and empowers clients to become the authors of their own stories. Not afraid of deep work, Shacoya is committed to going to the most challenging parts with you, addressing root causes to create real, lasting change.

Specializing in healing attachment wounds, relationship dynamics, mental health issues, and addiction recovery within the context of family systems, Shacoya uses evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Her dedication extends to working with a diverse and inclusive population, addressing issues such as addictions, trauma, infertility, family dysfunction, couples in crisis, blended families, gender issues, identity development, and historical trauma, with a special focus on healing generational trauma.

Despite her own fears, Shacoya’s love for people inspired her to co-create Blossom Family Therapy, despite her own fears. Her genuine curiosity about others drives her to be a strong advocate for social justice. As a systems theorist, she understands the power of relationships and connection in achieving social change.

In her free time, Shacoya loves spending time with her family and friends, finding creative ways to have crucial conversations, and giving back to her community in ways that foster positive change.
