1. Session Rates

Our therapy services are designed to meet your unique needs:

Intake Session80 minutes                              $275.00

Individual Therapy50 minutes                        $150.00 - $175.00

Family Therapy (Self-Pay Only)90 minutes        $275.00

Couples Therapy90 minutes                         $250.00

Add-On Session30 minutes                          $100.00

2. Payment Policies

​

  • Payment Due Date: Payment is required on the day of your session and will be charged on the morning of your scheduled appointment.

​

  • Accepted Payment Methods:

    • Cash

    • Visa, Mastercard, American Express

    • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) (requires a backup card).

 

3. Cancellation Policy

​

We understand that life can bring unexpected changes. To respect your time and our therapists' schedules:

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a charge equivalent to the full session fee.

4. Insurance Options

​

We work with several insurance providers to make therapy more accessible.

​

Accepted Providers:

​

  • BCBS of NC

  • BCBS of Mass

  • Aetna

  • MedCost/CBHA

  • United Healthcare

  • Tricare​

Out-of-Network Coverage:


If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, you may still be eligible for partial or full reimbursement. Check with your insurance company for details.

Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider:

​

  1. Does my plan include mental health benefits?

  2. Are out-of-network services covered?

  3. What is my deductible, and has it been met?

  4. Is there a copay for therapy?

  5. Are there limits on the number of therapy sessions per year?

  6. Do I need prior approval from my primary care physician?

  7. Does my plan cover couples or family counseling (diagnostic code Z63.0)?

5. Couples & Family Counseling

​

Please note that most insurance plans do not cover couples counseling, even for out-of-network services. We recommend contacting your provider for specifics and requesting details in writing.

Couples and family therapy services are available as self-pay only.

​

6. Sliding-Scale Fee Options

​

We reserve a portion of our practice for sliding-scale fee clients. If you are seeking financial assistance, please contact our office to check availability.
